Mentorship Philosophy
As a first-generation college student and the first person in her family to become a physician, Dr. Lily understands firsthand how overwhelming and opaque the path to medicine can feel without guidance. Navigating the application process, from building a competitive profile to writing a compelling personal statement, often requires knowledge that many students simply are not exposed to early on.
Dr. Lily’s mentorship approach focuses on helping students identify what makes their journey unique and teaching them how to communicate that story effectively in their applications. She believes mentorship should not only help students gain admission to medical school but also empower them to pursue careers in medicine with confidence, purpose, and a commitment to serving others.
