FAQs

do i really need to have my personal statement edited? Why should I choose med mentors?

Great question! We highly recommend that you get your essays professional edited. While it’s good to have friends, family, and mentors review your work, it’s extremely helpful to have an unbiased party and writing expert with admission committee experience to comb through each sentence of your essay and make sure that it is an essay that the admissions committees will be impressed by.

can i choose my advisor?

You can certainly include your request for an advisor and we will try our best to match you with them. However, it will be based on their availability.

how long is your turnaround time?

We have a 48-72 hour turnaround time excluding Sundays and major US holidays. Therefore, if you submit your essay to us on Friday at 5pm, we will have your essay back to you not later than Tuesday at 5pm. If you need a rush service (<24 hours), please purchase the additional rush fee.

what if i’m unhappy with my edit?
